SimplyMail is a MAPI email overlay for seniors and other
technologically-challenged users. SimplyMail was created for the
programmers grandmother, and has done very well in testing with actual
seniors.
The SimplyMail user interface is truly simple, not requiring a mouse
and only using two keyboard keys for navigation, with the exception of
typing.
SimplyMail is tested with Eudora, but uses the standard MAPI protocol
and supports MAPI authentication, so any combination of client and
provider can be used.
Since SimplyMail is open-source software, licensed under the GPL,
you can modify it to suit the needs of your indivual.
